On Saturday, 13 September, sunset will take place at 6:55 PM. The day will last 12 hours and 48 minutes — it will be 3 hours and 59 minutes shorter than the longest day of the year and 5 hours and 6 minutes longer than the shortest day of the year. The Sun will be in the sign of Virgo, and the Moon will enter its last quarter — a time for reflection, looking back, and new beginnings. Twelve days earlier, the school year will have begun, and eight days later there will be a solar eclipse. Soon after, astronomical summer will come to an end.

We invite you to a dance and performance choreographed by Przemek Kamiński, featuring 40 performers selected through an open call. The event will take place at the newly reopened Plac Centralny (Central Square) in Warsaw — a green urban space for relaxation that was once used for parades, marches, and New Year’s Eve celebrations, and later hosted an amusement park, a marketplace, and a car park.

The performance is an invitation to celebrate the final days of summer and to share in the nostalgia for childhood holidays, sunsets on the beach, sleepless nights, carefree days passing by, summer romances, and gazing at the stars.
