eternal rodeo

The 2025/2026 season of the Henryk Tomaszewski Wrocław Mime Theatre will conclude with Eternal Rodeo, a new project by Anna Karasińska, a film and theatre director who made her debut at TR Warszawa with Ewelina Cries. The production proved to be a bold and refreshing debut, presented at the National Festival of the Art of Directing "Interpretations" in Katowice and at the Divine Comedy International Theatre Festival in Kraków. This time, Anna Karasińska brings her innovative approach to theatre together with the ensemble of the Wrocław Mime Theatre.

"In my work, I focus above all on the kind of experience I want the audience to have and how to create it. My works are not performances in the conventional sense, but rather events unfolding here and now. Their purpose is to affect the audience intensely rather than to tell a story. I create situations in which people can set aside theatrical convention and truly see one another, entering into a living, energetic interaction. That is why each of my works is, to some extent, about the very act of coming together, and it will be the same at the Mime Theatre."
